G'day, Hunter here.
Apart from toiling over the idea of being an "architect without architecture"...
I'm a Graduate of Architecture with 4 years working in the industry at a range of building scales in Brisbane. I have a passion for critical thinking around current industry practice, as well as testing ideas through construction. I have applied this passion through managing small scale design build projects using a range of materials including bamboo, and waste concrete.
I graduated from my Bachelor of Architecture with First Class Honours and received the ‘DWP student prize’ for exemplary work in the final semester. The following year completing my Master’s of Architecture revealing a passion for indigenous land management and deeper questioning the 'practice' of architecture
I am also a graduate of the ‘Ozetecture’ Architecture Summer School where I learned valuable architectural and ethical lessons from highly regarded Australian Architects, Peter Stuchbury, Richard Lepastrier and Glenn Murcutt. This taught me an understanding and respect for the natural world over anything else and how to apply this to architecture... or don't.
